For these shoots I create sets that children want to have fun in. It's all about the narrative, context and special set-ups, involving more props, styling and actions.

Creative shoots include on set styling, creative concept and planning and all good images taken on the day in high resolution.

About sharing photo's of our kids online

Is it okay to share pictures of our kids online? Should we ask their consent? Or what about not showing their faces, perhaps? When it comes to sharing photos of our kids on social media, it seems impossible to get it right. As a photographer offering kids photography it’s something I give a lot of thinking. 

 

The internet is forever and I think we should all educate ourselves to think harder about posting information (including photos) about our children online while taking into account the conflict between our freedom to post and our children's right to privacy.  

 

So, you won't find a lot of faces on my homepage and social media because of this. Of course, you will have them but we keep those for you, for the old fashioned-family photo album. This is how I want to respect the privacy of our kids and prevent them for having a digital footprint before they could even consent to being photographed. 

 

I think there is something very intriguing about photo's that purposefully (or not) don't show the face and I hope you see that as well.

MINI SESSIONS & PORTRAITS

A breakfast in the woods or a hike on a snowy mountain: you go about your day and I photograph it. These sessions allow your  kids to be their wonderful selves and feel comfortable. There is no making your kids behave in a certain way: Ignoring the camera becomes much easier when they are engaged in something.

MATERNITY

With a background as a stylist and location scout, I carried my fondness for editorial photography into maternity photography.

 

I photograph ordinary women in a magazine style approach. By focussing on all the details, starting from the mood, the clothing to the props and the location, I aim to capture fleeting moments and turn them into art.

​

My style is minimalistic and feminine. At my studio I have a range of clothing available for your use, so you don't have to worry about what to wear.
