Desolate Blvd.
This series unfolds between two contrasting worlds—sun-drenched streets of Los Angeles and the stillness of a deserted hotel in southern Germany. Inspired by Elton John’s Tiny Dancer, the project draws from a childhood fascination with the song and its poignant visuals. I was especially drawn to its video, a quiet, cinematic portrait of L.A. life—strangers caught in passing, windows down, sunlight spilling through the glass, their stories unfolding in soft, unseen moments. That atmosphere—those veils of motion and stillness—inspired the mood of this shoot: somewhere between nostalgia and daydream, memory and motion.
